Your Opportunity Forming part of our growing Corporate Tax Advisory Financial Services team this role will see you work predominantly with large superannuation funds, managed funds and other financial services clients with a view to: Developing relationships with clients and gain an understanding of their businesses, and identify potential opportunities Collaborating with other teams across KPMG in the asset and wealth management sector in Australia and internationally Leading multiple engagements of varying size and complexity Working with clients in responding to ATO queries and reviews Being a part of Australia’s expanding superannuation industry Advising clients on complex tax matters and producing well-researched tax opinions How are you extraordinary? To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience could include: Previous tax experience in either a large professional or legal services firm or the Australian Taxation Office (Experience in an in-house role will be considered) Working with APRA regulated superannuation funds dealing with member and investments tax issues An existing profile within the asset and wealth management industry on tax matters Strong interpersonal, influencing and project management skills, as well as an ability to motivate and work as part of a high-performing team to achieve outcomes Australian and/or other Commonwealth country tax experience An honest and ethical approach to business, which will provide a natural fit with our values Ability to produce well-researched and clearly articulated tax opinions Additional Information KPMG is a professional services firm with global outreach and deep sector experience.
